Heathrow Airport (LHR) offers travellers a wide range of ground transportation options. Trains, buses, taxis, the London Underground and special hotel shuttles provide services at the airport.

Train Services

Heathrow Express

The Heathrow Express operates between Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Central London . It is the fastest travel option available from the airport and trains run every 15 minutes, every day.

RailAir

Railair buses operate to and from a number of railway stations which connects an extensive list of UK destinations including South Wales, Northampton , Birmingham , Liverpool, Manchester , Southampton, Portsmouth , Winchester and local railway stations such as Staines, Richmond , Clapham Junction and London Waterloo.

Heathrow Connect

The Heathrow Connect is a train services that operates between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport , every half hour, in both directions, throughout the day.

The Underground

The London Underground is a cost-effective way of travelling to the heart of London from the Heathrow Airport (LHR). There is one station that serves the central terminal area of Terminals 1, 2 and 3. The underground service to Terminal 4 is currently unavailable due to construction.

Coaches

The Heathrow Airport (LHR) is served by a number of different coach operators including National Express. Most coaches pick up and set down passengers at the central bus station, which is located close to Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

Bus Services

Heathrow Airport is served by many local buses which operate from the central bus station. Some services also stop at Terminal 4.

Hotel Hoppa

The Hotel Hoppa runs terminals 1, 2 and 3 to the hotels situated close to the airport. The Bus and Coach information desk in the arrivals area of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 issue tickets.

Hotelink

The Hotelink service runs between the Heathrow Airport (LHR) and your hotel. For Terminals 1 and 2, go to the information desks, located in the arrivals area and for Terminals 3 and 4, Hotelink representatives will meet you and assist with your luggage.
